A-4F "Skyhawk" attack aircraft.
The A-4 Skyhawk is a jet attack aircraft designed by Douglas to replace the US Navy's A-1 Skystrider. Douglas minimized its size, weight, and complexity. As a result, the weight of the aircraft was only half of the naval design requirements. Its wings are short and compact and can be easily parked on an aircraft carrier without folding.
A-4F is a further improvement to the A-4E’s avionics equipment. A raised part is added to the back of the fuselage (this feature also appeared on some improved A-4E and A-4C later), and the thrust is more The large J52-P-8 A engine became standard equipment, with a thrust of 9,300 pounds (approximately 41 kN), which was later upgraded to J52-P-408, and the thrust was further increased to 11,200 pounds (approximately 50 kN), A- 147 were produced in 4F. Some of them served in the "Blue Angels" aerobatic team from 1973 to 1986.
