F-16CG/XL HWG Gen-1 (Block 40) Wheel & tire set

Backdate your F-16CG Model with our Generation 1/Block 40 Heavy Weight Gear (HWG) F-16CG-XL wheel set.

The generation 1 HWG Wheels were initially used on the F-16XLs, which were the 1st F-16s to be configured with the HWG back in 1983. These are essentially the same wheels and brakes which were standard for the F-16CG Block 40 and 42 production run, except that the moor rings were removed from the NASA F-16XLs.

The Gen 1 HWG wheels were still in service with Israeli and Hellenic Block 40 F-16CGs, up until the mid-2000s.
