F-18A/C/D Hornets Part III decal sheet
This new decal sheet from AW Decals includes markings for 4 different 1/48 F/A-18D's.

The 4 aircraft includes a variety of Hornets from 3 different USMC Squadrons including 2 with hi-viz markings as well as 2 line jets.
- F/A-18D Hornet (BuNo 164685) with VMFA(AW)-121 "The Green Knights" in Oct 2004. Paint scheme is low viz gray with black tails and green markings including a big green knight chess piece on the tails.
- F/A-18D Hornet (BuNo 164694) with VMFA(AW)-2241 "The Fighting Bengals" in April 2007. Paint scheme is low viz gray with black markings and black tails and orange and black Tiger stripes on the rudders.
- F/A-18D Hornet (BuNo 164874) with VMFA(AW)-533 "The Hawks" in July 2003. Paint scheme is low viz gray an attacking hawk on the tails.

The 5 pages of instructions are clear and include 4 color views of each aircraft. The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet and two insert decal sheets. MAW Decals also includes all the tiny little extra decals for the ejection seats and chaff and flare dispensers, landing gear and landing gear doors etc. You also get a page of the instruction sheet that is devoted to the various weapons load and fuel tanks carried on each weapons station. This is a very complete package.
