F-35B Lightning II Canopy & wheels & EOTS paint masks set for the Tamiya kit

The set includes one sheet of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.

F-35B

Lightning II is a 5th Generation Fighter Jet with short take-off, vertical landing capabilities. It is made by Lockheed Martin Corporation in USA. The F-35B is designed as a successor to McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier. In addition to improved flight characteristics over the Harrier, F-35B brings Stealth technologies as well. It is ordered by Italy, Japan, UK, US Marines and /formerly/ Turkey. The latter was removed from the F-35 joint venture program for security reasons. Spain is also considering replacing their carrier-based AV-8 Matadors with F-35B as well, however the latter is yet to be decided. Besides Japan, all others are to use their F-35B from aircraft carriers in addition to land bases.

DN Models’ set

is designed for Tamiya kit #61125 /AKA #TAM61125/. The F-35B Canopy, Wheels and EOTS mask set features exterior and interior masks for the canopy, as well as exterior masks for the EOTS and complete masks for the wheels. The set is not suitable for F-35A made by Tamiya /kit #TAM61124/ nor for any other F-35B tooling on the market. The DN Models’ set features pre-cut masks, substituting the outlined masks featured in Tamiya’s kit. This mask set compliments RAM Panels mask set designed for Tamiya 1/48 F-35B Lightning II, which will be released soon after this set.
