F-4EJ modified nose for the Hasegawa kit
The radome of the F-4EJ Kai is reproduced with the lightning strip attached. A pitot tube is also included because it interferes with the mold of the lightning strip, and two or three spares are also provided. The
parts design of the kit is based on the division of the parts, and the rear part of the radome is faithfully reproduced in detail with reference to the panel division and fastener arrangement of the actual aircraft. The gun scavenge door is modeled in the open state assuming the state when parked after the engine is cut. In addition, the part where the yaw string to detect the aircraft's lateral slip is tied has been carefully reproduced. The fairing that houses the
M61 machine gun on the underside of the nose is made into a part up to the front of the nose landing gear bay based on the shape of the actual aircraft. The six barrels of the M61 machine gun are also reproduced, and by making them separate parts, it is easy to paint them separately. The air vent louvers are also precisely modeled.
*Part of the kit must be removed to include the M61 cannon fairing in front of the nose landing gear bay.
