J/AAQ-2 External FLIR
J/AAQ-2 is modeled in detail with 3D modeling and 3D printing. The shape of the dedicated pylon is also accurately reproduced.
*The pylon is shaped to correspond to #RafAvi's F-2A intake (4827, 4828).
*A hole drilling positioning template for mounting dowel holes is included.
*Some adjustments are required when installing it in the Hasegawa 1/48 F-2. The camera part is a separate part made of transparent resin.
*Since it is 3D printed with transparent resin, it is not completely transparent in the kit state.
What is J/AAQ-2?
J/AAQ-2 is an external FLIR developed domestically for the F-2, and its built-in optical sensor can be used to assist visibility during low-altitude flights at night and to discover and track attack targets. It is mounted via a dedicated pylon on the right side of the intake.
