The J7W1 Shinden is an unusual local fighter plane that the Imperial Japanese Navy developed and prototyped just before the end of the war. This prototype plane with its unique style is as famous in the field of airplane models as the Zero Fighter, which is synonymous with Japanese fighter planes, and even today it attracts a lot of attention, appearing in various media including games.
This book is a compilation of Shinden works published in "Monthly Model Graphics" and "Bimonthly Scale Aviation" in one volume. In particular, the Hasegawa 1/48 Shinden, which was featured in the November 2023 issue of "Bimonthly Scale Aviation," has been reconstructed and presented in a completely uncut version, mainly based on photos that were cut when it was published in Scale Aviation, and Zoukei Mura 1/32 and others are also included without exception.
