Mi-24 Canopy, windows & wheels paint mask set (interior & exterior) for the Trumpeter kit
The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
Mil Mi-24
in 48th scale from Trumpeter is probably the most attractive all-round Mil Mi-24 Hind kit. The larger option that is available is Trumpeter 1/35 and the smaller one is the notorious 72nd scale from Zvezda, which is an award winning release, constantly being re-packed and re-released. The middle ground in between the two scales mentioned above is quarter scale. Size-wise, this is perfect for such large helicopter and best suits most of the modelers’ needs out there. Shortly before the release of Trumpeter Mi-24 in 48th scale, Zvezda released their own variant of the kit. However, surface-wise Trumpeter kit is far better and features contemporary tooling. As with their 35th scale Hind, Trumpeter representations are currently the best on the market.
Mi-24 Canopy
and the cockpit are among the most distinctive features of this Mil attack helicopter. Unlike Zvezda who did not put much effort into their clear parts, Trumpeter kit features much more refined plastic material. Being vital for a well-completed model, the large real-estate of the canopy demands clean and fine completion. It is very attractive and often makes the cargo/troops bay irrelevant in scale. Proper painting and representation of the cockpit area is a necessity for any Hind model. This set comes with exterior and interior masks, covering both options for the canopy – open or closed. The set also features interior and exterior of the cargo bay windows and the wheels.
