RAF Blackjack Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4 Demo Scheme paint mask set for the Revell kit
Suggested kit: Revell 1/48 Typhoon
Re-usable die-cut mask set
The set includes three sheets of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.
Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4 demo camouflage is the paint scheme introduced in the spring of 2021 for the corresponding Air Show season. Royal Air Force Blackjack features the British flag over black base and the aircraft used is ZJ 914. Among numerous different Eurofighter Typhoon demo paint options, this is one of the most memorable due to its resemblance to the Red Arrows team, combining the black appearance for more serious and aggressive looks. The FGR.4 in this patriotic livery was demonstrated first by Lieutenant James Sainty from 29th Squadron from Coningsby. For season 2022, the demo flights will be made by Lieutenant Adam O’Hare.
from Revell is not the only kit on the market in quarter scale representing the European 4th generation jet. However, it is currently considered as the most accurate, thus DN Models mask set is based on it. The tooling of the German company is not new, however it is with decent quality and good measurements. The quarter scale Revell kit is available in various options, some of them in Demo schemes OOTB, most of them suitable for replicating the RAF FGR.4 Blackjack paint option. Other kits of the Eurofighter Typhoon can be used as well, however, for best results Revell is the kit that is recommended.
