RF-4E Phantom II
SUPER DECAL FOR 5 VERSIONS - COLOR INSTRUCTIONS
The RF-4E is the tactical reconnaissance version of McDonnell Douglas's acclaimed Phantom II two-seat multi-role fighter. It was developed specifically for export and was the combination of the reconnaissance systems of the RF-4C with the streamlined structure and uprated engines of the F-4E. The Luftwaffe received the first examples in the early 1970s and became a major user along with Japan, Iran, Israel and Greece. Many reconnaissance components and systems were also produced in Germany. The RF-4E was capable of carrying out "all-weather" reconnaissance missions and was able to map the terrain, thanks to infrared sensors, target search systems and camera equipment, in a very effective and precise way.
