The heroic figure of the Navy Air Corps in the Southwest, which was missing from the war history, emerges here
This book presents a collection of precious photographs of the Navy Air Corps taken by Abe Tetsuo, who served in the area known as the Southwestern Front as a press team member for the Mainichi Shimbun, for ten months from January 1944, when the Allied forces began their full-scale counterattack, to November of the same year. The images that emerged from the existing negatives are extremely valuable.
