predecessor of the "Shiden," the "Provisional Name No. 1 Local Fighter," was a proposal by Kawanishi Aircraft, known as the kingdom of seaplanes, to turn its in-house developed seaplane fighter "Kyofu" into a land-based fighter, which was successfully acquired by selling the prototype to the Imperial Japanese Navy. Compared to its successor, the "Shiden Kai," of which four actual aircraft remain, there are still many aspects of this aircraft that remain unclear, even though more than 1,000 were produced, and no actual aircraft remain, but this book delves into its structure and details. Six pages of detailed analysis with color illustrations by Sato Kunihiko are also included.
